Swing Gates
There are many styles of swing gates such as custom steel ornamental gates, chain link double drives, wood privacy gates, and more. The key to great swing gate design is ease of use. Swing gates are designed to swing free. Often, a poor design will lead to the addition of wheels to assist in gate operation leading to chronic problems. Sliding Gates
If not properly designed, sliding gates can be a big problem in Oklahoma. While V-Track style gates may be necessary in some applications, most sliders become cantilever gates due to weak design or improper installation. Some simple cantilever gates have external rollers. Higher-end aluminum gates use internal trucks that operate much smoother and extend the life of your gate.
Vertical Lift Gates
While uncommon in Northeast Oklahoma, most vertical lift gates require extensive installations that include large, concrete footers and high voltage supply. The operators for vertical lift gates are normally built into the units. Due to the heavy strain on vertical lift gates, the operators typically require more power – most use 208 volts while some require 480 volts in three-phase.
